1st 2nd day of CNY

This year's 1st day of CNY coincides with Valentine's Day.
double celebration for the day?
watching the news many couples register on this particular day,
and many of those ang pau packets designed to pair both new year and valentine.
creative though! xD

went over to Penang,
to visit aunt's sister,
situated at 'Long Buey', that's what they call it in hokkien, no idea about the english name,
reached there just nice for lunch, sit sit see see,
then headed to somewhere nearby to visit aunt's uncle,

went mamak drink tea. lolx.
chit chat for awhile,
then went to the beach! to see see the place where the government took over the land where the uncle's house was previously located.
kinda sad though only that one part where it just nicely cover the area the uncle stay,
whereas, the remaining ones were being converted into house inns and so forth for those facing the beach.

its kinda happening here at this part of the beach,
where there are horse rides, those parachute boat ride ( I dunno what is it actually called as ), the jetskies, banana boat ( I think? ), etc etc.
a lot of 'guai lous' around. can earn big bucks by selling services to them ek!
had Jagung Bakar while enjoying the breeze there in the hot afternoon under the big tree shades. xD
as usual, I'm the last to finish eating. ><

after finishing the corn,
we took the ferry home to Butterworth,
during the journey,
we saw lots of jellyfish!
i wonder the population has increased in massive amounts? before these, has never seen so many.
those swimming at the beach! be careful! not to get stung by those jellyfishies!


at night, about 9 something perhaps?
went and visit a friend of ours, including my neighbours. xD
only to realise there isn't any poker cards in her house. huhu.
and its quite a distance from her house to both our house and the convenient stores,
ended up,
playing Uno cards. >< and that even could keep us playing till 1.00am.
yep! practically missed the calls from Dar. my bad. too excited there. haha.
with all the draw fours one after another.
as well as. uno last card but had to keep drawing the cards as they don't have the card required. xD


the next day,
got up in the morning, went to UTC morning market.
had 'ban chang kueh', Aunt Looi's specialty! hee!
not related to Irene I perhaps. heee.
yummy yummy,
better than those in Subang or KL where its not as nice as hers and its cheaper in SP. xD

wanted to have char kuey teow for breakfast,
but this hawker stall,
being run by one person,
one man show. >< after waiting for a good half an hour,
only to tell me that still need to wait for quite sometime,
as he cook plate by plate,
indeed it should be nicer this way,
but not efficient lor.!
ended up with kuey teow t'ng which is not nice. ><

the whole day being spent in the air cond room over at aunt's house,
playing with the phone,
and lying on the bed,
lazing around,
the weather was SO hot, where it discourages me to even get out of the room! > <

just count down to the hours and minutes to meeting Dar the next day. hee!
