3rd day in Japan

During the night before,
We are provided with the night clothing which they called it as ' Yukata '..
As for this one,
Men and womens wear the same outfit.. Free size..

Look pretty weird in it though..
And the picture angle make it seems like both me and my brother is going to fall on each other! XD


Into the 3rd day,
Luggage packed up, went to the lobby to had our breakfast, load up the luggage into the bus,
And there we start our ' everyday exercise ' - check for passport, rolex, etc.
Good exercise though..







Anyways.. before getting up to the bus,
Managed to capture this ' shrine ' thing..
Which they display.. Different hotels different types..

There some meanings to the display..
Can't remember though..

Behind was the area where we had our breakfast at.




Today's first destination would be the Imperial Palace which is situated pretty near to the hotel where we stayed..
Dad even told us that his previous employer , Kajima, its office is situated nearby in Asaka if I were not mistaken.. But anyways..


When we reach at the stops where busses are suppose to park and we had to have a brief walk to the palace,
We're surrounded by lots and lots of BIG BONSAI trees..
Among them, it should aged more than 300 years old now..
And they still growing healthy!

It is just part of the area..
The palace is all covered up with the trees..
Where you can't see the palace..

But anyways, I like the scenery..
And QUESTION!!

Why is the small stones on the grounds for? Leading along to the palace?

Copper being oxidized and thus changed colour to greenish blue..

Anyways, still up there and not collapsing..

Most important right? =)

Next, we headed to the God of Mercy temple.. Can't remember the Japanese name of it.

For your information, there are hundreds and thousands of shrines and temples around here..

The rules here before you enter,

There is this fountain or you can say its an area of small pool of water..

Wash your hands and mouth.. As a sign of clean ( or something )..

And it must be your left hand first, followed by right hand, and lastly your mouth.

The man and lady in this picture, is Alston and Mei Bug..

They're a really cute couple! =)

An accidentally capture of picture with them in it..

My intention was to capture that building there but when I'm back home,

After uploading the pictures into the laptop,

While scrolling one picture after another,

Only realised that they were in it,

With their funny pose over there! =P

There is this street market over the other end of the temple..
Where, there is this stalls selling souvenirs and so on..

But, too bad the time does not allow us to stay longer over here for shopping of the souvenirs,
Only managed to get something for dad's friend,
And some soft biscuits with red bean in it..
For snacks..
Got attracted with the cute shapes.. And cheap And NICE!

Next, we headed to Ginza area, If I'm not mistaken,
This is a shopping area where you would be seeing all those branded things like Gucci, Burberry, etc etc..
Had our lunch, BBQ style..
And later on had our short walk to the LEGO shop..

That was the last destination for the day,
Next, we headed to Lake Kawagushi for the night..
Had a hefty dinner..
With CRAB! Long leg crab!
Don't know why I cant find that picture anywhere but I did took a picture of it!

I suppose this night would be a memorable one for my brother..
As there is only 2 beds in each room.. Whereas there is 5 of us..
So, one person is suppose to sleep alone..
The BRAVE brother of mine,
Chose to sleep alone as he always wanted to be ELDER.. XD

However, it ruined his only time to be ELDER -- teenager!
There was a huge spider in his room!
I don't know how big is the big..
But definitely not as 'BIG' as we can usually see in our houses in Malaysia though..
It scared him off..
Here's how the conversation goes.. ( it may differ as I wasn't actually there to hear the whole conversation )

' Ah Yi, You wan to change room?? * looks pale * '
' Why? * feeling weird about why my brother look so pale * something wrong is it?? '
' No ah.. * still looks pale* '
' Sure? Why u look so pale geh?? '
' Em.. There is a spider in the room! '

Haha.. Then they called the hotel fella..
And he came up and spray spray spray..
Look around for the spider..
But, the smart BIG spider manage to get off and hide somewhere behind the cupboard I suppose..
But, he said its normal to see such spiders in Japan.. In rooms..
Even in houses, you'll see some.. For some reason.. I can't remember..

Unfortunately, didn't jot down the room number of the tour guide..
Thus, not able to change room.. I wonder why dad didnt ask the fella. Maybe its communication problem. Japan-English..

So, in the end, I had to share the bed with my aunt,
Whereas, my brother had the whole bed to himself.. HEmp!
But, pity him also la, spider in his room! ehehhe..
If it was me, I suppose I'll be screaming around complaining about it! ahha..

In case you wonder why ain't I around when the spider thingy happen..
I was actually at the lobby getting online to reply messages..
Pretty fast connection there..
But just two computers there and you had to stand to use it.
Purpose? So that you don't get hung up with the computer! =P
Its free access though, lucky..
Cause there ain't other things to do staying at the hotels there.
Just one big lake in the middle with the hotels surrounding it..
Pretty far walk to a mini market..

Just for your information,
There is this hot spring at the 6th floor of the hotel..
Which is the highest floor..
Its the private hot spring just for the hotel guests..

Was planning to join the others for the hot spring..
Thinking of getting naked in front of the others was pretty nasty though.. =)
Not like you wanna peep at other's, or the other's would wanna peep at you..
Still an uneasy situation there though.. Ahha..
And, Its separate rooms okay?? For the hot spring!
Men see men, women see women..

If you want mixed wan,
Then it would be in Hokkaido.. Where man and women go in together..
And yeah, its for the open minded fellows..
PLUS!! Its all the aunty uncles there!!

Don't be disheartened guys!! aahhaha.. Maybe girls..
There might be some pretty girls there!
If you were to go and soak in the hot springs.. In Japan.. =P
